The foundation laying ceremony of the ultra modern Abia state polytechnic Printing Press was recently laid at the main campus. While performing the foundation laying function, the Rector Dr. Okorie kalu Osonwa said the project was being executed through direct labour .

The building which was designed by the Department of Architecture Abia state Polytechnic is being built by the Building Technology Department lecturers and students.

The project when completed and fully functional will serve the polytechnic community and it's environs with all printing jobs there by increasing the financial revenue base ( I. G. R. ) of the institution

The project is expected to be completed in the next few weeks.

The credit for this initiative goes to the Chairman Elder John Nwangborogwu and members of the governing council.

The Rector and Management on the other hand, played good complementary roles to this initiative by making sure that it becomes a reality.
